Moral Development of the Child and Erotic Songs
Maria Judith da Costa Lins, University Federal Rio de Janeiro, Brazil
This article deals with the problem of the construction of morality in childhood
in a post-modern society. The main stimulus for this study was the observation
of the increasing number of popular songs with erotic appeal which are sung by
children today... For this study we consider strongly the research made by Kohlberg
(1971, 1987) and the Genetic Epistemology (Piaget, 1973). Another source was the
document of the Sofia Meeting of Philosophers on the Problem of the School and the
Moral Education and the Needs of the Modern World, UNESCO, 1978.
