ABSTRACT  
Student philanthropy is a relatively new teaching strategy that provides 
students with the opportunity to learn about and invest in nonprofit organizations. 
This study identifies student philanthropy programs and courses at more than 40 
colleges and universities in the United States. Then it collects and cumulates 
data on a dozen student philanthropy efforts regarding their development, 
implementation, evaluation and plans for the future.
