A Web Enhanced Course with Attendance Options

This article examines a web enhanced course with attendance options that combine 
both online coursework and personal contact as important learning elements. A human 
services course is described that illustrates this approach. It is proposed that by 
providing a combination of web based learning tools and attendance options, students 
will overcome the anxiety of first-time use of online learning, have increased 
flexibility and enhance their time-management skills through attendance choices.
