Turner, the University of Michigan-Flint ABSTRACT Much research has been devoted to the study of exclusively distance-learning paradigms for teaching various technological subjects, yet many students have not been satisfied with existing distance learning methodologies. A new approach is required to address these students and to simultaneously address the needs of resident students that do not wish to enroll in a distance learning class. This paper presents a study of a cyber classroom concept that combines the best practices of brick-and-mortar learning with distance learning.
