Weblogs and the “Middle Space” for Learning
Advocates suggest that Course Management Systems can transform the higher
education classroom into a more student-centered space. However, this has

to weblogs (“blogs”). This paper compares the educational potential of blogs
and reports on direct experience suggesting that blogs can be a creative and
interactive middle space between online and traditional classrooms.
