Focus:
This edition will center on matters associated with the curriculum and its design as the basis for teaching and learning. By incorporating a variety of subjects relating to the curriculum and its planning, delivery and learning experiences obtained by students, this issue will disclose both ideas and the practical works and experiences of instructors and teachers relating to, for example:
  • Curriculum Design: thematic, research-based, project-based and interdisciplinary
  • Classroom strategies, e.g. to develop independent, interdependent and self-directed student learning, and the ongoing classroom challenge of providing students with valuable learning experiences
  • Social and cultural diversity and the management of social issues such as race, age, social class, sexual, religious and cultural discrimination, etc.
  • Diverse needs including readiness level, learning styles, multiple intelligences, etc.
  • The Global Classroom and the use of the Internet to carry out both valid research at both the national and international contexts, and to generate collaborative projects
  • Multimedia and classroom technologies
  • Media Literacy, and its advancement, so as to assist in the implementation a curriculum, to motivate and assess students, aside from allowing learners to acquire proficiency relating to Media Analysis, Media Critique and Media Production Skills.
