Focus: This issue will consist of articles describing the process and products of teacher action research in professional preparation programs. Action research creates opportunities for educators to improve the lives of children through improved practice. The flexible nature of action research (e.g., individual, small-group, school wide) allows educators to examine a variety of issues effecting their local environment and become active participants in the research process rather than a passive consumer. This issue will focus on quality action research papers which have met the criteria for effective research design and have impacted the educational process. Who May Submit: Faculty, administrators, librarians and graduate students.   Please identify your submission with keyword: ACTION-14
